The Resting Carriage Horses – carriage horse of a different color earrings
Part of the Transforming Artful Detective collection by Gwynstone
Mysteriously found in an abandoned carriage seat, these crystal resting horse earrings are a horse of a different color … by the minute. Is this the needed clue for you to find the perfect gift for that horse lover or the decade anniversary of your true love? The earrings shimmer from one color to the next, and give a feeling of peace as the clear quartz crystals echo the spectral tones as the horses rest guarding the answer to the mystery you have at hand.
These handmade horse earrings are carved from clear quartz stone. Clear Quartz is also known as Crystal Quartz or Rock Crystal. It is a natural form of silicon dioxide (and is a 10th Anniversary gemstone). Clear Quartz is known as the “master healer” and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals. The top beads are color changing – put them on and wait until the mystery unfolds.
At room temperature, the beads are a colorful mosaic of golden earthy colors, and when you wear them, the area around the center flowers will change colors, adding bright purples, yellows, and greens — sometimes all at once! Sterling silver-filled lever back earwires are made up of an outer layer of sterling silver surrounding a copper-alloy core. These items are 10% sterling silver, making them 1/10 silver filled.
In the 19th century the horse carriage was a four-wheeled horse drawn passenger vehicle, often of elegant design. Throughout the 1800s the manufacture of the horse carriage was an important industry. The light four-wheeled buggy with open sides was mass produced from the mid- 19th century until the popularity of the bicycle and the horseless carriage (automobile) took over in the 1890s. The carriage trade referred to the wealthy patrons or customers of a store who arrived in their elegant horse carriages.
